The course material and lessons on project management focus on key documents: what they are, what they do, and how to use them.  Specifically, this is a step-by-step walk through - and practice - of the complete life cycle of:

  • Job Start Up

  • RFIs

  • Submittals

  • Subcontracts

  • Meeting minutes

  • Subcontractor Change Orders

  • Owner Change Orders

  • Critical Path Scheduling

  • Punch-list / Closeout

Additionally, students will learn how to distribute, organize, track, and record these documents in an organized, intelligible way, such that someone totally unfamiliar with the project will be able to know exactly what is going on.
